Our Story

Simply Blessed was created in 2013 after hearing for years that I needed to sell my work. Simply Blessed is largely a handmade craft business. We make wreaths, home decor, jewelry, and holiday decor. We started out making burlap wreaths and have expanded into so many other areas. We make everything in a small town named Blountville in East Tennessee. When you shop Simply Blessed you are truly shopping local and shopping small.

Our small business consists of 3 generations of crafters. My name is Debbie and this business is my baby. I make all the wreaths, ornaments, and home decor. I also make the majority of the jewelry. My mom, Judy, taught me from a young age how to find joy in hot glue, glitter, and all things crafty. She continues to make vintage necklaces and earrings from upcycled findings and bobbles. Judy had a massive stroke in 2015 and making jewelry has been wonderfully therapeutic in her recovery. My teen daughter, Sarah, now carries on our love of creating as well. She creates hand embroidered jewelry as well as beaded jewelry and other items. The three of us strive to make quality items and keep our prices fair.

Currently we are located in several stores in Tennessee, Kentucky, South Carolina, and Southwest Virginia at the following locations:  MarketGrove Knoxville (West Town Mall), MarketGrove Chattanooga (Hamilton Place Mall), MarketGrove Lexington (Fayette Mall), Southern Collective (Gate City VA), Hometown Cottage (Downtown Kingsport), The Local Merchants (State Street Bristol), Merchants on Main (Lebanon VA), Coal Miner's Daughter (Downtown Johnson City), Abingdon General Store (Main Street, Abingdon VA) and the Jonesborough Visitor's Center. Our Boho jewelry and collectibles can be found at Boho Collective in Bristol and Abingdon and at the Severville and Charleston South Carolina Tanger Outlets. You can also order items online to be shipped or for local pickup in Blountville, TN. I also attend many of the area craft festivals.
